As shown in class, CET maintains a very useful site for anyone interested in teaching, including those of you who will be TAing next year. By clicking on the "Teaching & Learning" link on their page, you can find a plethora of resources. Here are a just a few of the things you'll find on the site:

*information on how to facilitate discussion
In addition, their Teaching Nuggets page has helpful suggestions on every aspect of TA teaching, from holding office hours to suggestions on how to energize large classes. There is a lot of information on the site so chances are if you're looking for somethingin particular, you'll find it there.
When visiting our class, Lawford Anderson also mentioned The Future Professoriate Program offered by the Center. It is a year-long interdisciplinary professionalization program designed to help doctorate and postdoctorate students in their penultimate year. CET not only maintains a useful website, but offers mentoring/individual consultations for those who want to ask questions and get feedback from the CET Faculty Fellows in person. Also be sure to check out the calendar for upcoming CET workshops.
